It also shows good stability to oxidants and good solubility to many organic compounds.
Cyclopentane chloride is a pharmaceutical intermediate that can be used to prepare Palbociclib. Palbociclib(formally known as PD-0332991) is the result of a project initiated by researchers at Parke-Davis, which was later acquired by Pfizer.
