Insoluble in water but miscible with common organic solvents. It has good chemical stability and is not easy to deteriorate under normal circumstances. It also shows good stability to oxidants and good solubility to many organic compounds.
Cyclopentane chloride is a pharmaceutical intermediate that can be used to prepare Palbociclib. Palbociclib(formally known as PD-0332991) is the result of a project initiated by researchers at Parke-Davis, which was later acquired by Pfizer. It first entered people's vision in 2012 at the SAN Antonio Breast Chemicalbook Cancer Conference (SABCS), and once it was released, it attracted widespread attention in the industry. Palbociclib is an oral inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinases CDK4 and CDK6, which mainly acts by regulating cell cycle and prevents cells from G1 phase to S phase by inhibiting CDK4/6 activity, thus inhibiting DNA synthesis.
