Methyl Alcohol,other name Methanol, also known as hydroxymethane, is an organic compound that is toxic. It is the simplest saturated monohydric alcohol. Its chemical formula is CH3OH/CH4O, of which CH3OH is a simplified structural formula, which can highlight the hydroxyl group of methanol.
