1. Stability: dihydrazide sebacate is relatively stable and can be stored for a long time at room temperature without decomposition. It breaks down at higher temperatures, producing toxic gases.

2. Solubility: dihydrazine sebacate is soluble in organic solvents such as water, alcohol and ether, and insoluble in alkane solvents.

Uses: Dihydrazide sebacate is mainly used in organic synthesis reaction as a reducing agent and phosphonate deprotection reagent. It can also be used as a raw material for the preparation of other organic compounds and complexes.
