As a result, more cholesterol in the blood is converted into bile acid, thereby reducing the cholesterol content in the blood. At the same time, bile acid is a substance necessary for the intestinal absorption of cholesterol. Bile acid combines with this product in the intestines, reducing the absorption of cholesterol in food and also playing a role in lowering cholesterol.
