Yellow crystal, soluble in benzene, toluene, insoluble in ether and alcohol, sensitive to air, cold storage away from light. Tetri (triphenylphosphine) palladium, as an important transition metal catalyst, can be used to catalyze a variety of Chemicalbook reactions such as coupling, oxidation, reduction, elimination, rearrangement and isomerization. Its catalytic efficiency is very high, and it can catalyze many reactions that are difficult to occur under the action of similar catalysts. The reagent is obtained by the reduction of PdCl2(Ph3P)2 with hydrazine, or by the reaction of Pd2(DBA)3 with PPh3.
