Levodopa

Levodopa, an organic compound with the chemical formula C9H11NO4, is a precursor drug of dopamine. It has no pharmacological activity in itself, enters the center through the blood-brain barrier, and is transformed into DA by dopa decarboxylase to play pharmacological effects.

Use 1: Levodopa is one of the effective drugs for the treatment of tremor paralysis, one of the precursors for the synthesis of norepinephrine and dopamine in the body, belonging to catecholamines.
