It has strong antibacterial activity against most enterobacteriaceae bacteria, such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Serratia species, Proteus species, Shigella species, Salmonella species, Citrobacter species, Acinetobacter species, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Haemophilus influenzae, and Neisseria gonorrhoeae, etc. gram-negative bacteria.
