Widely used as organic synthesis intermediates, can be used in the production of dye intermediates, rubber promoter, nitrocellulose paint, insecticides, catalysts, preservatives, gas phase corrosion inhibitors and fuel antioxidant additives. It is also used as an extractant. The fatty acid salts and sulfates of dicyclohexamine have the decontamination properties of soap and are used in the printing and dyeing and textile industries.

1,Used in organic synthesis, but also used as pesticides, acid gas absorbent and steel antirust agent. Used as natural products, organic synthesis of extractant, acid gas absorbent. Salt formed with fatty acid and sulfuric acid has excellent surface activity and is used in printing and fiber industry. And metal complexes used as paint, ink catalyst. Dicyclohexylamine nitrite is an excellent corrosion inhibitor for metals.
2,For organic synthesis and use as pesticides, acid gas absorbent, steel rust inhibitor.
Dicyclohexylamine has applications that are similar to those of cyclohexylamine, namely the production of:
antioxidants in rubber and plastics
vulcanization accelerators for rubber
corrosion inhibitors in steam pipes and boilers
agrochemicals
textile chemicals
catalysts for flexible polyurethane foams
