Calcium Oxide

Calcium oxide is an inorganic compound whose chemical formula is CaO and common name is quicklime.  Physical property is the surface of white powder, impure for gray, containing impurities in light yellow or gray, with hygroscopic.

It is suitable for long-term shutdown protection of low-pressure, medium-pressure, and small-capacity drum boilers;

6. It can react with water to prepare calcium hydroxide. The reaction equation is: CaO+H2O=Ca(OH)2, which belongs to the compound reaction.
