Bremelanotide

Bremerantine PT141, also known as Bumenotide, is a drug used to treat female sexual dysfunction, and PT-141 has shown positive results in Phase I clinical trials in normal premenopausal women. PT141 regulates libido and sexual response by activating endogenous pathways in the brain, helping premenopausal women with low active sexual desire disorder maintain normal libido.

Bremelanotide acetate is a cyclic heptapeptide structure. Numerous studies have shown that their receptor molecules play an important role in sexual arousal, reducing appetite, and catalyzing the synthesis of melanin, which can treat sexual dysfunction, obesity, and stimulate the production of melanin in the skin to fight UV burns. PT-141 is a drug developed by the American Palatin company for the treatment of sexual dysfunction, which has completed phase III clinical treatment and is effective in both male and female patients, especially the only effective drug candidate in female patients with cold sex.
