-2,2, 2-triphenylacetophenone is commonly used as a reagent in organic synthesis. It can be used as a reducing agent for aldehydes and ketones, and acts as a catalyst in some chemical reactions. It can also be used as a free radical antioxidant and UV absorber.
-2,2,2-Triphenylacetophenone is an endocrine disrupter that is medicated through estrogen receptors.
