Colorless volatile liquid, strong ammonia smell, flammable. Slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether and other organic solvents. The explosion limit in the air is 1.2% ~ 8.0%. Can be used as a solvent. In combination with organotin compounds, it is used as a catalyst for the manufacture of polyurethane foam. It can be used as the catalyst of polycarbonate spirit by phosgene process, the inhibitor of tetrafluoroethylene, the accelerator of rubber vulcanization, the special solvent of paint stripper, the surfactant, the ion exchange resin, the preservative, the fungicide, the dye, the fragrance, the enamel anti-hardener, the medicine, the high-energy raw material, the liquid rocket propellant, etc.
