Soluble in water, alcohol and ether, insoluble in alkane, benzene, toluene, etc., does not decompose hot water, hot lye, and has a strong corrosion effect on metal iron, copper and lead.
Methanesulfonic acid is the raw material of medicine and pesticides, and can also be used as dehydrating agent, coating curing accelerator, fiber treatment agent, etc.
