The structure of decabromodiphenyl ethane contains ten bromine atoms, which has extremely high bromine content, good thermal stability, good UV resistance, and low permeability than other brominated flame retardants. The substance does not produce toxic polybrominated diphenyl dioxane (PBDO) and polybrominated dibenzofuran (PBDF) when pyrolysis or combustion, and its flame-retardant materials fully meet the requirements of the European regulations on dioxins, and do not cause harm to the environment.
