Heparin calcium is a novel antithrombotic drug obtained by depolymerizing heparin extracted from pig intestinal mucosa with an average molecular weight of 4500 daltons. In vitro experiments showed that compared with heparin, low molecular weight heparin calcium has obvious anti-XA activity and only slight anticoagulant activity. The bleeding risk is much lower than that of heparin, it has almost no effect on platelets, and subcutaneous injection has high bioavailability, long half-life and outstanding anti-thrombotic effect.
