Magnesium Stearate

Magnesium stearate is a white, easy, and sand-free fine powder; it has a slight special smell; it has a slippery touch in contact with the skin.

This product is insoluble in water, ethanol or ether, and is mainly used as a lubricant, anti-sticking agent, and glidant. It is especially suitable for the granulation of oils and extracts drugs, and the prepared granules have good fluidity and compressibility. Used as a glidant in direct compression. It can also be used as a filter aid, clarifying agent, and foam dropping agent, as well as a suspending agent and thickening agent for liquid preparations. 

Magnesium Stearate is used as heat stabilizer for PVC, as well as raw materials for cosmetics, flour, moisturizing ointment and pharmaceutical tablets (shaping drugs and lubricants);

Used in school wood powder to make it lubricated, bright and transparent; Paint industry as transparent smoothing agent, etc. Widely used in food, medicine, coatings, plastics, rubber, textile and so on.
