Colorless transparent volatile liquid, flammable, explosive. Highly toxic. There is a bad smell. Soluble in ethanol and ether, insoluble in water. The relative density is 0.845. Melting point -83 ℃. The distillation range is 36 ~ 39℃, the refractive index is 1. 4438. Boiling point 37.5℃. The spontaneous combustion point is 206.1℃, the flash point is -17.8 ℃, and the flammable range is 2.2% ~ 19.7% in the air.

Aplicació

This product is a solvent, is the production of dimethyl sulfoxide, methionine and pesticide intermediates. It can be used as a solvent for organic synthesis, polymerization and cyanation.
