Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs) that is commonly prescribed for people with painful rheumatic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.
The drug should not be given to children, breastfeeding mothers, and people with porphyria. Pregnant women should not also be given aceclofenac as they risk developing patent ductus arteriosus in the neonate.

Aceclofenac is a newly synthesized oral effective non-steroid,  anti-inflammatory, antipyretic andanalgesic drug. Structurally, it is related to diclofenac acid, aclofenac acid and fenclofenac acid. In clinical practice, compared with other non-steroidal drugs, the pharmacological effect of this drug is characterized by its obvious extensive anti-inflammatory,strong analgesic and antipyretic effects and gastric toxicity in acute and chronic inflammation experimental models.
