Toepassing

This product is used as polymerization catalyst for butadiene rubber, synthetic resins, synthetic fibers and olefin polymers. It is also used as an intermediate of organometallic compounds and a high-energy raw material and reducing agent of jet engine ignition system.
1. Triisobutyl aluminum is a common reducing agent in organic synthesis. It can react with organic halides to form the corresponding alkane compounds.
2. It can also be used to catalyze the polymerization of cyclopentene and ethylene.
