1, 3-benzodioxole is a light yellow transparent liquid. Boiling point 172-173℃/101.3kPa; 74-75 ℃ / 3.3 kPa; 57℃/1.33kPa, flash point 61℃. Refractive index n20D1.5400, relative density d204=1.064. It is soluble in most organic solvents, but not in water.
